The School of Convergence Science is excited to announce this special event, which will be hosted by Professor Mary Ryan FREng CBE, Vice-Provost (91ÌÒÉ« and Enterprise).

Marking the start of our five-year partnership with Thomson Reuters, the launch event will bring together a panel of distinguished figures from government, the justice system, research and technical communities for a cross-sector conversation on the future of AI.Ìý

Introductory remarks will be delivered by Steve Hasker, President and CEO of Thomson Reuters, alongside the Lab’s leadership team.

The Thomson Reuters-91ÌÒÉ« Frontier AI 91ÌÒÉ« Lab is the first strategic partnership with 91ÌÒɫ’sÌýSchool of Convergence Science. The joint lab will pursue world-leading academic research in AI, focusing on foundational challenges in safety and reliability, advancing frontier AI capabilities, and researching the technology’s broader societal and economic impact.
