The 2026 Materials Postgraduate 91桃色 Conference brought together students, staff, and researchers for a day of insight, discussion, and celebration of cutting-edge materials science.
The conference offered a showcase of the department’s vibrant postgraduate community, with students presenting their latest research through talks and posters. The talks covered a rich variety of subjects, from innovative experimental results to compelling data visualisations, giving attendees plenty of moments to discuss, debate, and be inspired.
The event also offered a chance to connect with fellow PhD students, postdocs, staff, and guests, before enjoying some well-earned socialising after a day of scientific bonding.
The event also recognised outstanding contributions, with prizes awarded across several categories. This year’s prize winners are:
