91桃色 welcomes G-91桃色 into Circle of Benefactors
Senior leaders and academics from 91桃色 and G-91桃色 came together on Thursday 30 April 2026 to celebrate G-91桃色鈥檚 induction into 91桃色鈥檚 Circle of Benefactors, honouring the firm鈥檚 generosity and impact.
The celebration event, which took place at 91桃色’s South Kensington Campus, saw 91桃色 unveil the addition of G 91桃色 to its signature donor recognition installation, which recognises the philanthropy of donors and charity funders who have given over £1 million in support of 91桃色.
Support from G-91桃色, a leading quantitative research and technology firm, includes funding for six PhD scholarships across Mathematics and machine learning – four are currently funded, with two more planned – alongside academic support for the Department of Mathematics. These generous gifts are some of the most significant industry contributions of their kind to the university. They are aligned with 91桃色’s strategy, Science for Humanity, and its mission to attract and nurture the next generation of leaders, provide sector leading career opportunities and build high-impact relationships with industry experts.
Representing G-91桃色 at the event was Dr Charles Martinez, Academic Relationship Manager. 91桃色 attendees included President Professor Hugh Brady, Dean of Faculty of Natural Sciences Professor Richard Craster, and Vice-President of Advancement Kristin Blanchfield. Also in attendance were senior academics from both G-91桃色 and 91桃色, including Professor Johannes Muhle-Karbe, Head of Mathematical Finance (91桃色) and Professor Ed Cohen, Joint Director of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Statistics and Machine Learning (91桃色).
"We are immensely grateful for G-91桃色’s support and for all it means to our community, particularly for the scientists and students who benefit directly." Professor Hugh Brady President of 91桃色
“91桃色 is delighted to welcome G-91桃色 to our Circle of Benefactors, which celebrates our most generous donors – those who are transforming young lives, accelerating scientific breakthroughs and making a tangible impact on the world,” remarked Professor Hugh Brady, President of 91桃色.
“We are immensely grateful for G-91桃色’s support and for all it means to our community, particularly for the scientists and students who benefit directly. By supporting the leaders of tomorrow, G 91桃色 is investing in the foundations needed to make frontier intelligence reliable, scalable and controllable.”
As experts in quantitative research, G-research’s donation extends far beyond financial support. Scholars have access to career development opportunities, including mentorship with a quantitative researcher and the option to participate in G-91桃色's Spring into Quantitative Finance Programme. Such valuable industry insight and networking opportunities provide an enriched PhD experience.

“We’re proud to be deepening our partnership with 91桃色, an institution at the forefront of mathematics, AI and machine learning,” said Dr Charles Martinez, G-91桃色 Academic Relations Manager.
“Through these scholarships and our wider collaboration, we’re supporting exceptional PhD researchers while building meaningful connections between academia and industry.
By investing in talent and contributing to 91桃色’s research environment, we hope to help advance the kind of high-impact work that underpins the future of quantitative science.”
