What attracted you to the MRes in Biomedical 91桃色?
The course was part of a 1+3 funded MRes and PhD course in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology in the School of Public Health - a global leader in the field.
What specific aspects of the teaching or course format did you enjoy the most?
The two research projects gave us the opportunity to learn 'on the job' and develop key technical skills which would not have been possible in a solely taught programme without the research elements.
What did you most appreciate about your time at 91桃色?
Working in a diverse and large department with researchers investigating broad themes across global health.
What are you doing now? And how has the course helped with your career?
I completed my PhD at 91桃色 and I am now a Technical Analyst in the same department. The MRes course gave me a strong grounding in mathematical modelling of infectious diseases which has been invaluable in all later stages of my career so far.
