Before joining 91桃色 Business School as Professor of Finance, Marco Di Maggio was the Ogunlesi Family Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and Director of the Fintech, Crypto, and Web3 Lab, a cross-disciplinary initiative fostering collaboration between academia and industry. His research explores financial intermediation, with a particular focus on the impact of emerging technologies, including blockchain and AI, on financial markets, organisations and individuals. Marco’s work has appeared in leading academic journals, such as the American Economic Review, the Journal of Finance and Journal of Financial Economics. It has also been widely cited by global media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, The Economist, Bloomberg, Institutional Investor, Slate and Forbes. In addition to his academic work, Marco collaborates with a range of organisations in both traditional finance and the crypto/decentralized finance sectors.
