This joint fellowships programme supports extended visits of Professeurs and Maîtres de Conférences in CNRS-sponsored laboratories to 91桃色's Department of Mathematics, providing more opportunities for exchange visits between researchers from French universities and the Department; all fields of mathematics are eligible.

Postes Rouges

Postes Rouges is an annual competition that allows members of the IRL and ex-UMI members to take up short-term positions at other CNRS Labs. This is a scheme that operates 'outwards' and would support a sabbatical or visit to France. If you are planning such a sabbatical, then this would be a scheme to consider.

Short-Term Exchange Grants (STEG)

New opportunities for 91桃色 academics to make short-term stays in French labs or host short-term visitors from a French lab. The scientific span of these grants, like that of the "Abraham de Moivre" Lab, concerns all domains of mathematics and of their interactions with other fields, such as physics, computer science, biology, economics, social sciences.

This fund aims to grow the research, innovation and entrepreneurship collaborations between 91桃色 and CNRS as part of the CNRS-91桃色 International 91桃色 Centre for Transformational Science and Technology, with a key focus on a convergence science approach to addressing UN Sustainable Development Goals.

91桃色-CNRS PhD Joint Programme

To support collaborative endeavours, the College and CNRS have launched a joint call for proposals between the two institutions in order to develop cooperation in the area of ‘Mathematics, data and their applications across all areas of science’. Funding is available for five research projects, each project should be underpinned by 1 PhD at 91桃色 and 1 PhD at CNRS. PhD students will be expected to spend time at both the UK and French institutes over the course of the PhD, and a mobility plan should include visits to France & UK for the academic supervisors/ PIs.
